Special Lockdown Services from Handycall Construction

Lockdown has hit everyone hard, especially small businesses like ours.

You may not know that registered builders and some associated trades have been allowed to work through lockdown, with some restrictions.   We can attend to all works considered an emergency.  We can also move around, order and deliver materials and carry out many different types of work  in your home.

Social Distancing, Hygiene and Precautions

We do of course adhere to social distancing and hygiene regulations and any other precautionary measures that the client may ask us to follow.

Lockdown has meant that we are more in demand by our regular clients.  We have also found new clients as their usual local handyman is not allowed out.  Many  of these new clients are pleasantly surprised by our efficiency and the cost of our services, and we hope will become regular clients.

Our Experience

Particularly useful at this time is our experience at working remotely, which we have been doing for our regulars for 15 years.   We can carry out an inspection and report back to you by email.  All we need is access which is often arranged by picking up a key, and some  clients even post one to us.

We can advise on the overall state of the property, take photos, and quote for any works that may be required.  Payment is then made through the bank and the keys safely returned.

The Future?

At the moment it’s hard to know when things will get back to normal, and an opportunity to visit your property may be some time away.  Taking the opportunity to have it inspected may save you money in the long run, and what price peace of mind?
