Since the new rules for tourist activity in the Valencian region came into force last year, many property owners considering renting their villa or apartment for short term and holiday rental activities don’t know where to start.

However, it is simple when you know how, and Horizon Holiday Villas offers a complimentary service assisting owners in obtaining all the necessary certification and licences required, as part of their full management package.  They work together with external architects who must make the application for the Urban Compatibility Certificate at the local town hall, before the application for a Tourist Licence number can be made at the appropriate Territorial Tourist office.

Avoid A Fine

Many owners are unaware that they must have a valid Habitation Certificate in place before any of the above can be administered, and the failure to have an up to date certificate in place can result in the owner receiving a fine.
